We had a great 24th of July weekend. We drove down to the parade this time. And we found that it is much easier for the kids and the parents if they can play in the back of the Tahoe 'til the parade starts.
Gideon was funny. He just kept clapping, occasionally he would through in a "good job", but he just would keep clapping for everything.
My little Trace was so happy that Daddy was home all day with us. Truth be told we all were happy that Daddy was home with us. He actually took Friday off as well, so we had a great 4 day weekend.
And Tell enjoyed the parade from his carseat. He is NOT a fan of the firetrucks! Other than that he pretty much slept right through it.

Cookies, a parade, and Daddy home all day. It doesn't get any better than that!
Sounds like the perfect weekend - except for two little things. #1 favorite Aunt Toni wasn't there, and #2 Kodi looks way too old, don't let her out of the house anymore!!!
